Velocirator
Privacy & data

A private place
to work things out.

This page explains the application's current data behaviour. Velocirator is an early product; use the workspace thoughtfully and avoid unnecessary sensitive personal information.

What the application stores

Your account, startup profile, conversations, accepted records, record revision history, reviewed mentor briefs, and operational AI metadata are stored on the application server. Records are private to their founder unless explicitly included in a shared snapshot.

AI processing

When you ask the connected AI partner a question, the application sends your current message and relevant startup context to the configured AI provider. AI calls are recorded with the model, prompt version, input references, token usage, and status. API credentials remain on the server.

Mentors and programs

A mentor or program manager can access only the reviewed brief snapshots explicitly shared with them. Sharing a brief does not grant access to the original private records or conversations. Revoking a grant removes access through the application; it cannot remove copies a recipient has already made outside it.

Corrections and history

You can correct the startup profile and memory records. Meaningful edits preserve the previous revision and the reason for change so decisions remain understandable.

Accounts and administration

Administrators manage account access, startup metadata, provider configuration, and operational records. Their application role does not automatically open private founder workspaces. Hosting operators may have infrastructure-level access required to maintain the service.

Browser storage

The service uses a session cookie for sign-in and request protection. The optional demo stores only its selected synthetic example step in your browser. There are no advertising trackers in this implementation.

Service limits

Do not treat AI output as independently verified information. Verification email and password reset delivery depend on the configured email service. Automated reminders are not promised by this version.
